spas and local wellbeing traditions

Scald feet, coffee or herbal baths, massage with coffee, massage with coarse salt, traditional relaxing massages, or just “napoleon hat” seeds or aguaí close to the body, are living well-being traditions in the Vale do Café. The most charming addresses in the region offer the most varied experiences to zero your energies. Scald feet are traditional in private homes in the Valley, and with a hot infusion they are used to eliminate toxins from the body. They can cure headache, muscle pain, reduce tiredness…

Aguaís, or “Napoleon Hats” are seeds of widespread application in the region, with use under the hat to remove headaches, or close to the belly to eliminate colic, for example. A plant widely used by people from Brazil, aguaí is practically a talisman, and emits an excellent electric current for the general health of human beings. It repels venomous animals and insects, and is used by indigenous peoples throughout Brazil in anklets, bracelets and necklaces to enter the forest. It was the object of a scientific study proven by Dr. Henrique Smith, a doctor and professor at USP. His research reports the frequencies that Aguaí seeds emit, and the balance they promote.
